This morning I went on a walk with my seniors. It was a gorgeous sunny day and blindingly bright. Inside the park, it was blanketed with snow and I very much needed my ice cleats. I was told a few weeks ago when I mistakenly forgot to bring my icers that I will most likely need to wear them until the end of April.

This is the first walk this year that I finally started hearing birds chirping which made me so happy.
​
Of course, I got there a couple minutes late and got even further behind when I decided to change my coat to a warmer one. (Yes, I brought a backup. lol)
​
The group went ahead and one person stayed behind but I guess I took too long to change coats as we were really far behind the rest of the group for most of the hike.
​
Of course, I ended up being too warm but I prefer it that way rather than the alternative. I am, by nature, someone who has to have all the things, and likes to be overprepared in any situation.
​
However, in this case, I just ended up feeling overwhelmed and bogged down. I look forward to warmer days and shedding the heavy coats so I only have to carry two cameras and my too-full day pack. 😆
