Canada Day is a big deal for us, but not at the scale it is in the United States so I hope you're enjoying your extended long weekend.

We went down to the lake to watch the fireworks as they were having a big display across the lake which we thought we'd be able to see from the beach. We got there too late though so we watched the local fireworks being set off on the beach which were a pretty decent consolation prize.

I think it's been about 10 days since I wrote you which is crazy as it's the longest I've ever gone without writing a newsletter. Ever. I've been busy behind the scenes getting my courses updated and will have info on that soon.

I'm also in the midst of planning a cruise to Europe with my mom this summer. I know...I know...if you've been with me for awhile, you know last year's trip nearly killed me. But I want to spend more time with my mom and we found a really exciting itinerary on a new line we've never sailed with so we're excited.
